Tribal Fusion: Bridging the Gap Between Tribal & Oriental w/ Eugenia
March 26, 2011
1p-4p @ Saffron Dance

Tribal fusion came into being when dancers trained in ATS (American Tribal Style) decided the format was too rigid for their artistic expression, and looked to their Oriental roots and beyond for inspiration. These days, the fusion can happen in either direction. Learn what makes Tribal Fusion Belly dance both Tribal and Fusion while still remaining belly dance, through a thoughtful and rigorous examination of the posture, music, shapes and aesthetics of the style. Some belly dance experience suggested (Tribal or Oriental).
